Sustainability demands new ways of thinking, of both products and their lifespans. D line, a leading manufacturer of interior fixtures and fittings, is known for timeless design and uncompromising quality. Their products are created to last, often outlasting the buildings in which they are installed.

We assisted d line with the launch of their sustainability initiative, ‘Re-handle’. We helped with naming the initiative, developing the communications concept, and integrating visual elements into d line’s existing identity, which we refreshed in 2017.

The name is a mix of ‘recycle’ and ‘handle’. The communications concept builds on the master brand by referencing how quality never becomes waste and that investing in products and design that last is crucial for the company.

Through the initiative, d line takes back original products to be re-handled [reused]. Having been cleaned and repaired, they can be sold for use in new projects. Re-handle reduces waste (up to 90% CO₂ emissions) while helping customers save money and reduce their carbon impact. This circularity is a testament to the enduring quality of d lines' catalog.
