Rebranding a family-owned company with a unique legacy

Since 1962, Fischer has been a leading provider of indoor climate solutions, offering high-quality sun shading, curtains, and acoustics. As the largest player in their field in Scandinavia, they bring deep expertise, high-quality craftsmanship, and a unique experience to every project.
In 2022, Fischer aimed to solidify their position and present themselves as a company that collaborates closely with architects, engineers, and private clients on iconic buildings and public institutions, as well as residential projects—a shift from being just a manufacturer to becoming a professional design and development partner.

Studio C played an essential role in Fischer's rebranding journey. We helped the company develop a clear brand promise, a set of genuine values, a core narrative, and a tone of voice that aligns with Fischer’s legacy and future ambitions. This strategic direction laid the foundation for the new identity design and website.
Fischer’s identity design is enrichingly simple, with a focus on craftsmanship and high-quality design in all details. With respect to its origin, we made a subtle modernisation of their logo design while preserving its unique handwritten hallmark.

The design system is developed with inspiration from Fischer’s product portfolio—shades, curtains, and blinds—ensuring flexibility and adaptability across all media and platforms.

Images are a main element in the identity design. They showcase Fischer’s products, as well as their tactility and materiality, and emphasise how the right solution can diffuse light, create shadows, and eventually change the entire atmosphere of a room and architecture of a building.
