• Brand Identity

As the name implies, Huset (the House) is an important and inclusive place for the Copenhageners. The location prides itself on being the oldest cultural institution in Denmark. The identity is modelled on a part of the house itself, a 1970s neon sign on the front of the building. The sign represents the important cultural history of Huset, but also signifies modern and vibrant city life. In order to create Huset’s visual identity, the original letters from the sign have been used to produce a full typeface. This typeface can then be used for Huset’s communication and signs in the future. This project was done in collaboration with type designer Elias Werner.
