The outdoor campaign, #Kulturenfindes, published all around Copenhagen, was a friendly reminder to us and our politicians that art and culture could still be a source of inspiration and joy amidst Covid lockdown when museums and other cultural institutions remained closed. Three months into the lockdown, the aim of the campaign was to create optimism and excitement and make people look forward to the reopening of cultural life.
The campaign consisted of nine posters with different motifs and quotes. The motifs were all depictions of works or photographs made available by key cultural institutions, including the National Gallery of Denmark, VEGA, Louisiana, and Glyptoteket. Quotes on the posters were taken from the well-known Danish poet Inger Christensen's seminal poem "Alphabet".
